Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1
Sharkisian and the PA looking at the control monitor, as the PA points to it.
PA: See here? And here?
PA: And look at those telemeres.
PA: How old is this O Murchadha, really?
Panel 2
Two-shot of Sharkisian and the PA, Sharkisian assumes an authoritative pose.
Sharkisian: You know our code of ethics demands that we respect our patients' right to privacy.
PA: How can we give the best treatment to our patients if we don't have accurate information?
Panel 3
Sharkisian rolls her eyes.
Sharkisian: {sigh} Very well, let's assume the patient is really 500 years old, more or less.
Sharkisian: Set up the Bawerk-Simpson protocol, and administer as we would a 10-day follow-up treatment.
Panel 4
The PA, at her console. Sharkisian has turned to walk away and waves off her question.
PA: Yes, doctor.
PA: Oh, there's a note here that if the treatment is to run longer than 5 days, to inform the patient's, um, adjutant. Shall I --?
Sharkisian: I'll take care of that.
Panel 5
Cut to: Rando and Nicole at their table in Club Leykis. As Philbert continues his set, the phone in Nicole's head is ringing.
Philbert (OP): I know you think you heard me, but what you heard was not my heart ...
SFX: [musical notes]
SFX2: BRRINNGG
Nicole: Hang on, my Tel is ringing.
Panel 6
Nicole is holding both hands over her ears, having difficulty 'hearing' her Tel through Philbert's din.
Philbert (OP): Heart and head are out of whack, at least until I can get you back ...
SFX: [Musical notes]
Nicole: What? Who? I can't hear you. I'm at a concert. Sort of.
Panel 7
Nicole has gotten up and is walking away from the table, leaving a discomfited Rando.
Philbert: Back back, won't you come back, won't you come back my love ...
SFX: [musical notes]
Nicole: Hang on a minute, I need to find a quieter place.
Panel 8
Nicole stands in a corner in the club's lobby.
Nicole: Okay, that's better.
Nicole: No, no bother, I was just getting my brain sand-papered.
