Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 30

Panel 1
The exterior of the Beanstalk Summit, (which isn't really a summit, because there is a counter-weight that extends many miles above), 23,000 miles above Terra. It has multiple rounded-disc shaped modules, the largest in the center has airlocks arrayed around its perimeter. Some of the locks have ships docked to them, and one of those ships, a medium-sized spaceliner, is close to the camera. It is the Mercury Rising.
Dockmaster (from Mercury Rising's airlock): It's 16.52. Any sign?
Assistant: I see someone coming now.

Panel 2
Just on the Summit side of the airlock where Mercury Rising is docked (we see the ship's name on a sign), the Dockmaster and his Assistant have been waiting. Wayne Bobinardi briskly strides into the frame. Hot on his heels are the two Arsociates carrying his luggage, running on their short legs to keep up. The men snap to attention.
Dockmaster: Seven minutes to departure, Mr. Bobinardi.
Assistant: Your stateroom and accommodations for your valets are ready, Excellency.

Panel 3
Without breaking stride or saying a word to the men, Bobinardi heads straight into the airlock. The valets carry the luggage in after him. The dockmaster and his assistant look on after them.
Assistant: And so another intrepid Exec departs mother Earth on a vital mission.
Panel 4
The two saunter away from the airlock, which is closing.
Dockmaster: Too bad they keep coming back.
