A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Showdown in Rando's bedroom, as Rando blocks Nicole's path to the door. He's also reaching out to grab her left shoulder.
Nicole: Get out of my way!
Rando: Will you calm down and listen to me?
Panel 2
Looking past Rando at Nicole, who swats Rando's reaching hand away with her left and shoves her right fist towards his face.
Nicole: NO!

The two stand frozen for a moment, with Nicole's fist hovering 40 cm from Rando's face. He's grinning, she is confounded.
Rando: Forgot to put on your zringer this morning?

Rando back-hands Nicole across the face, knocking her off her feet towards the bed.
Rando: Nasty habit you Elf-Hive women have, wearing those things.
