Story & Art: Scott Bieser - Sci-Fi Adventure Monday & Thursday.
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

A Message From Alyss
So, we fell just a few hundred short of our goal, but that's okay, because it's a "Flexible Goal" meaning we still get the funds raised (minus Indiegogo's cut) so we can and will fulfill the promised perks.
We are grateful to all who contributed, and yes you are all now founding members of the "Free Cosmos Project," with all the privileges membership entitles you thereto. (Unless you don't want the honor, we'll respect that too.) Which for now means we'll be whipping up a spiffy little Certificate for each of you, physical versions sent out with the physical books requested, and PDF versions for the rest.
Indiegogo will disburse the funds to us soon. And we've already got the ball rolling printing books, and postcards, as well as the above-mentioned FCP certificates. And we'll be talking a bit more about the Free Cosmos Project in the coming weeks.
Nicole and George walk towards the door where the two bailiffs are standing by.
Nicole: What happens now?
George: The guards will process you out, return your property, etc. I'll be waiting by the exit for you.
A happy Nicole waves goodbye to George as the guards, expressionless, escort her back into the detention area.
Nicole: See you soon.
The guards escort Nicole into an elevator.
Nicole: I don't remember coming this way.
Guard: It's where we're going.
Emerging from the elevator, Nicole peers down a hallway lined with heavy security-doors.
Nicole: What -- what's going on here?
Guard: What's going on is ...
Three-shot of Nicole and the two guards.
Guard: We're holding you for aggravated assault on Mac Park.
Nicole: Aggra -- what? Mac and her two goons assaulted ME!
One of the guards has picked up Nicole from behind, holding her by her upper arms and carrying her down the hallway. The other guard walks alongside. Nicole is too surprised to offer resistance.
Guard: Is that your story now? You told the judge those injuries were from a fall.
Guard: We have statements from Park as well as Khenbish and Brandt.
Nicole: But ... but ... but ...
They stop before one of the cells. The male guard holds Nicole while the female slides the heavy door to one side.
Guard: We figure a few days in isolation will calm your violent tendencies.
Nicole: Wait! I want to see my lawyer!
The male guard tosses Nicole into the narrow, 1.5 x 2 meter cell.
Guard (OP): You can see him in, oh, a few days.
