Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In a hotel hallway, Buford, Nicole and Ventura head towards one door, while Seamus heads towards the one adjacent. Ventura looks a bit confused.
Seamus: Get plenty of rest, girls. Big day tomorrow.
Buford: G'night.
Nicole: G'night, Seamus.
Panel 2
Ventura steps toward Seamus.
Ventura: I don't understand. You do not wish to sleep with me?
Seamus: Sorry, but that's not the reason I ... purchased your time.
Panel 3
Seamus and Ventura. Seamus lays a hand gently on the android's shoulder. Ventura looks dejected.
Seamus: It isn't that you're unappealing, but, well, my heart belongs to another.
Ventura: If that is what you wish.
Panel 4
Ventura enters the room where Nicole and Buford are already making themselves comfortable. Nicole is looking into the mini-fridge.
Ventura: Why would a man rent a companion android but not want companionship?
Buford: Who cares? You're off t'e hook.
Nicole: Hey Robot Girl, y' wanna process some alcohol with us?
