Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1
Nicole, Buford and Ventura, clad in sleepwear, are seated in a circle on their hotel room floor, drinking beers.
Nicole: So, you know what steams me?
Buford: You mean in a good way or a bad way?
Panel 2
Closer 3-shot of the girls.
Nicole: In a bad way.
Nicole: Those goddam ball gowns, that's what!
Nicole: I don't care if that Thien Kim-leecheenut is a big-shot designer.
Panel 3
Buford squints at Nicole.
Buford: So you think you could do better?
Nicole: In my sleep. Hell, I'll bet Ventura here could do better, right, Robot-Girl?
Ventura: I am not a robot, I am an android.
Panel 4
Nicole makes an 'L-7' sign with her fingers, spreading her hands apart. A large holoscreen appears nearby.
Nicole: Whatevs. We can do this.
Nicole: C'mon, girls, let's make us some bitchin' ball gowns!
Panel 5
The girls sit shoulder-to-shoulder before the holoscreen, Nicole in the center. She is making gestures with her hands. The screen is at an oblique angle so we can't really see what's on it.
Buford: Have you ever designed a ball gown before?
Nicole: No, but I do understand that fashion goes in cycles ...
Panel 6
Close in on the girls, so that the holo-screen is off-panel. Nicole is gesturing rapidly
Nicole: See? Designs a lot like Thien's were in fashion 140 years ago.
Nicole: So, we look at what was new _following_ that time and take it as our inspiration.
Panel 7
Same shot. Nicole turns to look at Buford, who is looking at the off-panel screen with a critical eye. Ventura turns to query Nicole.
Nicole: Like so. What do you think?
Buford: Hmmm. It's better, but ....
Ventura: May I make some adjustments?
Panel 8
Ventura makes her own hand-gestures, and Buford and Nicole look at the results appreciatively.
Nicole and Buford (in unison): Ooooooooo!
