Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Establishing shot, Xie-Po's drawing room. Seamus looks about with a nostalgic look as he enters with Xie-Po and Bo-Nu. There are four overstuffed chairs arrayed around a small coffee table. Paneled walls with various decorations, some small statuary, etc.
Seamus: Oh, yes, I recall this room well. Your uncle and I spent many happy hours here in conversation, during my last extended visit.
Seamus: I remember he had a lovely android concubine -- what was her name?
Panel 2
Xie-Po looks at Seamus with narrow eyes, trying to figure out if he's being played.
Xie-Po: It was Veronica. But she's not around anymore. He tired of her and sold her a few years ago.
Seamus: Ah, well, I suppose such things happen.

Panel 3
The men seat themselves as an android servant brings drinks on a tray.
Xie-Po: But we am not here for reminiscing. I have a business matter to discuss.
Seamus: About my project, I presume. You have inherited Po Xu-Ke's share, yes?

Xie-Po: Yes, your mysterious project.
