Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Back at the drawing room -- Seamus, Xie-Po, and Peng-Bo-Bo are seated in the overstuffed chairs.
Peng-Bo: There is one important thing that I do know about your project, Dr. O'Murchadha.
Peng-Bo: And that is, you have invested most of your own rather, if I may say, modest fortune in this project.
Panel 2
Closer 3-shot of Seamus, Xie-Po, and Peng-Bo
Peng-Bo: Clearly you have high confidence in a rather large pay-off, yes?
Seamus: Possibly, or perhaps I'm quite mad. I could lose it all.
Panel 3
Seamus, Xie-Po, and Peng-Bo. We can see Bo-Nu behind Peng-Bo, examining an ancient astrolabe he found on a shelf.
Peng-Bo: Ha-ha. Possibly. Your reputation does indicate a sometimes ... unstable personality.
Seamus: Thank you.
Peng-Bo: But that is also the classic mark of scientific genius.
Panel 4
Xie-Po jumps in.
Xie-Po: Let us get to the point, gentlemen.
Xie-Po: Mr. Peng-Bo has offered a ... handsome compensation for my shares in this ... enterprise.
Xie-Po: I believe it is in my best interest to accept that offer.
Panel 5
Seamus sits with the fingertips of both hands pressed together. He looks levelly at Xie-Po.
Seamus: The problem, Mr. Tong, is that under our agreement any transfer of shares, other than by inheritance, must be approved unanimously by the other shareholders.
Xie-Po (OP): Yes, I know that.
Panel 6
Now Peng-Bo looks levelly at Seamus.
Peng-Bo: We are hoping that you will help us deal with that problem, Dr. O'Murchadha.
Peng-Bo: We want you to contact the other shareholders and arrange a vote on the matter.
Panel 7
Three-shot. Seamus sits with his arms crossed.
Seamus: Why do you need me to call the vote? Mr. Tong could to that himself.
Peng-Bo: We feel that the vote is more likely to go our way with your endorsement.
Panel 8
Medium close-up on Peng-Bo, looking rather malevolent.
Seamus (OP): My ... endorsement?
Peng-Bo: As a visitor in my domain, you and your assistant are under my ... protection.
Peng-Bo: Certainly, you should grant me the courtesy of an endorsement, yes?
