Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Back at the drawing room -- the holoscreen now shows 'Awaiting Reply' in the first and second frames while still showing 'Query Sent' in the third. Seamus stretches in his seat as the android butler removes his empty dinner service.
Seamus: Well, that was a tasty lunch, Mr. Tong, my thanks to you.
Panel 2
Seamus has gotten up and walks toward a sofa positioned along a wall of the room we haven't seen yet.
Seamus: I hope you won't mind, but between all my traveling and that delicious lunch, I feel the need to take a short nap.
Xie-Po (OP): Not at all, Dr. O'Murchadha.
Panel 3
2-shot of Xie-Po and Peng-Bo. Xie-po has calmed down.
Xie-Po: We still have nearly four huoke before the earliest possible response from our final shareholder.
Xie-Po: Mr. Peng-Bo, I hope you will also excuse me, but I must spend at least _some_ time overseeing my party.
Panel 4
As Xie-Po, standing, bows to Peng-Bo, the latter speaks softly.
Peng-Bo: I will be comfortable here.
Peng-Bo: While you are away please do see to the comfort of the doctor's secondaries.
Xie-Po: Of course.
Panel 5
As Xie-Po strides through the hallway away from the drawing room, he thoughtsends.
Xie-Po (thoughtsend): Ma-Bo! Where are Dr. O'Murchadha's secondaries?
Ma-Bo (OP thoughtsend): What? Oh, it's you, Xie-Po.
Panel 6
Cut to Ma-Bo Nu, at the controls of his flying car.
Ma-Bo (thoughtsend): They have just arrived in Xin Rizhao.
Xie-Po: (OP thoughtsend): WHAT! You were to alert me if they attempted to leave the premises!
Panel 7
Exterior view of Ma-Bo's car, flying towards the city of Xin Rizhao, still several dozen klicks in the distance.
Ma-Bo (thoughtsend): You also said not to interrupt you in conference with Mr. Peng-Bo for any reason.
Ma-Bo (thoughtsend): They took the tube from Xin Xian, so I need to catch up with them, but I am tracking them with no problem.
Panel 8
Cut back to Xie-Po, leanind against a door-jamb.
Xie-Po: (thoughtsend): Tracking? How -?
Ma-Bo: Our uncle put a tracer in Veronica, remember? He feared she might be kidnapped.
Xie-Po: Ah. Perhaps you are not as stupid as I thought.
M-Bo: Thank you, cousin.
