Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole, Buford and Ventura emerge from the tube gate. Nicole has two fingers pressed against her temple; Buford is limping a bit.
Nicole: Lessee now ... Xin Rizhao isn't quite the metropolis Xin Xian is, but there are three major shopping districts, so we should ...
Panel 2
Suddenly, Buford drops to her knees, supporting herself on one arm while the other rests near her kidney.
Buford: Gaah! Feek!!
Nicole: Buford! What's the matter?
Panel 3
Ventura (who is a lot stronger than she looks) is helping Buford to her feet.
Buford: Didja efer wonder why a lot more Beltapes migrate to Luna rat'er'n Huoxing?
Nicole: I never thought about it, but now that you mention it ... why?
Buford: We Beltapes are designed for micrografity.
Panel 4
Close three-shot of Nicole, Buford and Ventura. The Beltape has an arm around each companion's shoulders.
Buford: Our backs don't do so well walking around t'e way you Standards do.
Buford: We can manage well enough in Luna's 1.6-graf field, but Huoxing's 3.7 grafs* put a lot of stress in the wrong places.
Nicole: I can relate to that.
