Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cut to Nicole and Ventura in a clothing boutique. Nicole is looking at an outfit displayed on a mannequin.
Nicole: Somehow I'd expected Huoxingian fashions to be more ... exotic.
Ventura: These days the popular styles seem to come from your L-5 City, or so the 'zeens say.
Panel 2
Nicole and Ventura stroll along an aisle, Nicole looking around to find some item of interest.
Nicole: That's what I get, coming from the bleeding edge of human civilization.
Ventura: What is it like -- are there many androids there?
Panel 3
Nicole has stopped to look at another mannequin
Nicole: Oh yeah, lots .. although we usually call them 'artifolk.'
Ventura: 'Artifolk.' Artificial folk? Does Dr. O'Murchadha own any artifolk?
Panel 4
Nicole continues strolling along, not noticing that Ventura is standing in stunned silence.
Nicole: Own? Of course not. He does own non-sapient A.I.s, though.
Nicole: But where we come from, artifolk -- self-aware and volitional -- are persons with the same rights as humans.
