Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 490
Panel 1Nicole leads her companions, with Buford carrying Ma-Bo Nu's body slung over her shoulder, into the other section of the alley where she had fought the three toughs. They are still laying on the ground.
Buford: Damn, girl, did you do t'at?
Nicole: I'm afraid so. These thugs grabbed Ventura and then came after me when I objected.
Panel 2
Buford slides Ma-Bo's body off her shoulder and it falls towards the ground, as Nicole stands by.
Nicole: Just drop your load right here.
Buford: Right here --? Oh, I t'ink I get it.
Panel 3
Nicole places the shovel in one of Ma-Bo's dead hands as Buford observes.
Nicole: So long, friend. It was short but sweet.
Buford: You think t'is is gonna fool the infestigators?
Panel 4
Nicole walks over to where Tough 1 is laying, unconscious.
Nicole: It will at least confuse them long enough for us to get off-world.
Nicole: But I have some other questions I want answered.
