Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Transcript For Strip 535
Panel 1Interior of the HuoJinGong Security Forensics lab in Xin Rizhao. Chief Investigator Ho Rai-Chu enters the lab where Lab Tech Rui-Anh is working at a console.
Ho: You called for me, Rui-Anh?
Rui-Anh: Yes, Chief Ho. I have retrieved the information you wanted from the victim's cortical implant.
Panel 2
The two men view a monitor, angled so we don't clearly see what's on it just yet.
Rui-Anh: I have reviewed images from Ma Bo-Nu's last day of life.
Rui-Anh: This image is from two hours before he died.
Panel 3
Looking past the two men at the monitor, we see the interior of the department store where Ma had been shadowing Nicole and Ventura. The two girls can be seen from a distance.
Rui-Anh: He appears to have been shadowing these two. An alien female and an android.
Ho: Have you identified them?
Panel 4
A zoom shot of Nicole and Ventura, centered on Ventura.
Rui-Anh (OP): The alien is a semi-celebrity: Nicole Oresme of L-5 City, the first female Sun-Diver.
Rui-Anh: But he appears to have been more focused on the android.

Two-shot of Ho and Rui-Anh.
Rui-Anh: The android is an old V-287 model. No specific ID as of yet.
Ho: Where does this lead?
Rui-Anh: I can show you the last two minutes available.
Panel 6
Monitor view, showing an alarmed Ventura being grabbed by Ma.
Ho: Where is this?
Rui-Anh: Near the alley where Mr. Ma and the three android-jackers were found.
Panel 7
Two-shot of Ho and Rui-Anh looking at the monitor. Ho looks mildly disappointed.
Ho: And then it goes blank?
Rui-Anh: Mr. Ma switched off the recorder at this point.
Rui-Anh: But given his street-rep as an android-fetishist we can speculate why.
Panel 8
Ho turns to exit the lab, leaving Rui-Anh in his wake. He holds a palm to his ear in the usual Tel-Call gesture.
Ho: Thanks, Rui-Anh.
Ho: Agent Nguyen!
Ho: Put a search on alien subject Nicole Oresme. I want to know where she is now, and where she's been the last 200 huoke.
