Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Cut to the city Xīn Xīān on the planet Huǒxīng, or Mars. We are focusing on a building in the hub of this city of almost 2 million.

Now we're inside an office, with a close 2-shot on old Master Po Xu-ke's nephews, Tong Xie Po and Ma Bo Nu. Tong is lean and intellectual; Ma is muscular and not intellectual.

Pull back to show everyone on this office room. There are, besides the newphews, the lawyer Bei Shuang-kuang, and the android Veronica, plus two other individuals, one man and one woman.

Veronica steps towards Bei. She is alarmed and confused.

Bei ignores Veronica and snaps at Tong, who merely raises an eyebrow.

Tong holds up a device that looks like a present-day remote car-key switch, and thumbs a button. Veronica reacts by suddenly jerking stiffly upright, as if someone had pulled a string coming out of the top of her head.

Ma sizes up the now immobile Veronica like a wolf contemplating its fresh kill, while Tong stands by.
