Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still at the Dispatcher window, Seamus turns with a start to see Wayne Bobinardi standing behind him, smiling an oily smile. Wayne's associates are close at hand.
Wayne: Fly. Spider. Yes, quite droll, that child.
Panel 2
Seamus begins walking away, Wayne follows, the associates trailing behind him.
Seamus: Much wittier company than you, I must say.
Wayne: Seamus! You wound me! I thought we were friends.
Panel 3
Seamus continues walking, not looking back at Wayne.
Seamus: Now, that was almost funny, Mr. Bobinardi.
Wayne: I am here to oversee Gensaxwal's interest in this project, not to annoy you.
Panel 4
Seamus finally turns to face Wayne. As Seamus is almost a head taller, he looks down at the Terran, who refuses to be intimidated. Seamus speaks through gritted teeth.
Seamus: Gensaxwal will share in the data, just as we agreed.
Seamus: You may consider my annoyance a free bonus.
