Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Murphy's Avatar stands before the console
Murphy: Hm. If I try to guess the passphrase and get it wrong I could set off some alarms.
Murphy: What to do?
Panel 2
Reverse angle – we see the pole-mounted control panel in the foreground; in the background, another avatar – who looks like a classic, trench-coated spy complete with wide-brimmed hat, approaches out of the tangle of light-lines.
No dialog.
Panel 3
The Spy Avatar punches a passphrase into the console.
SFX: tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk tk
Panel 4
Swing around so we see the doorway behind the console – the door has opened, and the Spy is walking through. The console looms large in the foreground and we can see a very small version of Murphy's Avatar emerge from it, watching the Spy go.
Murphy (thought): Got it.
