Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Seamus and a RentATech technician are in a 3-meter-cubed room, with various monitors and gadgetry spread across three long tables set up around three of the walls. A group of 3 monitors is dark. The technician has one of the gadgets near those monitors turned around and is doing something to its innards, as Seamus looks on. (There is an oversized chair in the room, too.)
Technician: Okay, lemme re-seat this plug and that should solve the problem.
Seamus: I certainly hope so.
Panel 2
The technician has turned the gadget he was fooling with around and slid it back into its place among the other gadgets. Three of the monitors which had been dark are now on and displaying data.
Seamus: Nicole starts her final approach in 15 minutes and I don't want to miss any of it.
Tech: There ya go.
Panel 3
Seamus settles into his oversized chair and begins scanning his monitors. The Tech exits out the door in the back wall.
Tech: Thanks for calling RentATech, have a good day.
Seamus: I will so long as nothing else goes wrong.
Panel 4
Same shot. The Tech is gone but now Wayne Bobinardi enters. Seamus reacts with an angry look.
Wayne: Ah, here we go, this is the room.
