A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Looking past Nicole at her rescuer, who is recognizable even though back-lit in the hatchway.
Nicole: Antigone Stone!
Stone: You're welcome.
Panel 2
Antigone steps into the room to look over the unconscious beltapes.
Stone: Sorry for the rough pick-up, though.
Stone: I'm low on fuel, and it looks like these two only had moments to spare anyway.

Nicole (from inside): Will they be okay?
Stone (from inside): Hard to say for certain until we land and get them to the medicos.

Stone: Right now we need to get everyone secured for landing.
Stone: Can you bring your gynoid friend? I'm out of hands at the moment.
