Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Nicole and Antigone enter the room, where we see Nigel and Buford laying in adjacent recliner-beds. One of the Security men discreetly follows the women in.
Nicole: Buford!
Buford: Hello, baby. Who's your friend? She looks familiar.
Panel 2
Antigone and Nicole stand beside Buford's bed, A and B are shaking hands.
Nicole: You met Antigone Stone briefly back on Luna.
Nicole: She's the one who rescued all of us.
Buford (to Antigone): You did? How can I repay you?
Panel 3
Antigone, Nicole and Buford, we can just see Nigel in the foreground.
Antigone: No need. As a Smith & Holder agent, I am contracted to render emergency assistance to you both where I'm able.
Buford: What about Nigel?
Panel 4
Antigone smiles at Nigel, as Nicole and Buford look on.
Stone: Under the circumstances, we can call this a freebie, and hope you'll consider subscribing to S&H Resolutions for your insurance needs.
Nigel: Ha-ha! Hard to beat that for a sales pitch.
