A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Ed and Chelsea lead Nicole and Antigone, with Murphy in tow, into the suite's bedroom.
Chelsea: We can talk in here without disturbing Grampa.
Nicole: He's your grampa?
Chelsea, Nicole and Antigone are seated on the large bed. Murphy floats behind them. Ed seats himself in an overstuffed chair next to the bed.
Chelsea: Actually, my great-great-grandfather.
Chelsea: That's why I contacted him when I learned he was in-world.
Closer shot on Chelsea, Nicole and Antigone. Nicole is acting coolly, not sure what she thinks of this girl.
Chelsea: Normally I wouldn't have imposed on him like this – he keeps in touch with family but we're not really close, if you know what I mean.
Nicole: You'd be surprised.
Chelsea: Would you really have stripped naked and run through the concourse just to annoy Grampa?
Nicole: I haven't ruled it out, yet.
