Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Nicole is exiting her room, her anysuit on and activated, projecting modest daywear. The breakfast table is put away, Seamus is relaxing on the sofa, looking at his Screen; Murphy seated at the other end of the sofa, wearing provocative holo-clothing. Nicole is looking towards Seamus as she heads for the exit door.
Nicole: On my way to the chemist, Seamus. Can I pick up something for you? A high-colonic?
Panel 2
Seamus replies without looking up. Nicole and Murphy are both startled.
Seamus: Take Murphy with you.
Nicole and Murphy in unison: WHAT
Panel 3
Seamus and Murphy. Seamus is non-chalant, Murphy is rising to go but only reluctantly.
Seamus: I can't concentrate with you womenfolk flitting about.
Murphy: But …
Seamus: I need some alone time.

Murphy, looking defeated, and changing her holo-clothing to something more suitable for going about in public, follows along behind Nicole, who has mixed feelings about the situation.
Nicole: C'mon, Murphy. Uncle Grampa wants to view his techno-porn undisturbed.
