Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Close-in shot of Nicole and Moe, squatting on opposite sides of the 'hole' in the large apparatus. Moe is schooling Nicole.
Moe: CRIMINALS? Is that what you think we are?
Moe: Didn't Seamus explain the situation to you?
Seamus (OP): Well, I was about to …
Panel 2
Moe enthuses as she explains. Nicole is still looking dubious.
Moe: We're freedom fighters, cousin!
Moe: We struggle against the evil mo-fo Mercorpuscles who have entrapped thousands into slave-labor in the Jovian System.
Panel 3
Angled view that also takes in Murphy and Seamus.
Murphy: And what about the tens of thousands of Arti-folk enslaved by HuoJinGong on Europa?
Moe: A … a separate group is working on liberating Europa. I don't really know more.
Panel 4
Two-shot of Murphy and Seamus.
Murphy: Need-to-know rules. Fair enough.
Seamus: Jesús is one of the leaders of a guerrilla group seeking to throw off Gensaxwal and Omega-Tek here, just as the Belters threw off J.C. Bucks 148 years ago.
Panel 5
Murphy looks doubtful.
Murphy: The Belters had the advantage of a Mercorp War disrupting and distracting their adversaries.
Seamus: I hope you're not suggesting we start one. Those things are incredibly destructive.
Panel 6
Angled shot so we can see Nicole and Seamus. Nicole squawks.
Nicole: No shuck? Revolutions are destructive, too!
Seamus: Wars for liberation are justifiable, especially where oppression is intolerable.
Panel 7
Two-shot of Nicole and Moe, although Nicole is still speaking OP in Seamus' direction.
Nicole: Says the guy who is dropping his gear and running far from the battlefield.
Moe: I will be on that battlefield and I'm fine with this.
Panel 8
Moe plunges her upper body back into the 'hole' while Nicole looks on, with a thoughtful expression.
Moe: What I don't want is for us not to finish this job in time.
Moe: More working, less talking, please.
