Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Hernandez, Seamus, Nicole and Murphy. The men look slightly embarrassed, the gals are smiling.
Seamus: Er … yes, a condom is an appropriate metaphor, I suppose.
Seamus: I wish I could come up with a similarly clever metaphor to illustrate the importance of not underestimating one's opponents.
Panel 2
Nicole strikes a mock-thoughtful pose as she and Nicole push the joke. The boys have had enough.
Nicole: Hmmm... regular vaginal exams?
Murphy: Perhaps in their case it should be regular prostate exams.
Panel 3
Seamus begins to exit the scene. Hernandez turns back to the monitor screen.
Seamus: It's three more days to the base.
Seamus: I'm going to rest for a while.
Hernandez: I'll have Xolotl spell me in two hours.
Panel 4
Nicole and Murphy walk away together.
Nicole: Who was it who said, 'Dying is easy, comedy is hard'?
Murphy: Either Edmund Kean or Shia LaBeouf – the record is unclear.
