The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Murphy: You show an appalling lack of reasonable skepticism.

Nicole: Is that so? What about your infatuation with Seamus?
Murphy: Don't change the subject. You have a history of hooking up with questionable people.

Nicole: 'Questionable'? Jesús is NOTHING like Philbert, or Rando.
Murphy: No, he just cuts out tongues and murders people he doesn't like. Nothing like those others.
