Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Scene: an underground hangar, filled with a variety of smaller, mostly militarized-looking spacecraft. There's an observation window through which we can see Seamus, Murphy, Nicole and Jesús.
Seamus: So, this is the fleet?
Hernandez: Only about a third of it, remembering your advice concerning eggs and baskets.
Panel 2
In the corridor on the other side of the window, Seamus, Murphy, Nicole and Jesús.
Hernandez: Plus, of course, the Argosy, which will be refitted as a troop-transport and shuttlecraft carrier.
Hernandez: The other ships will be refitted with your EM-Shield and mass-detectors.
Panel 3
The four continue through the tunnel.
Seamus: How long do you expect the refitting to take?
Hernandez: About 40 days, give or take.
Hernandez: We're a bit light on skilled shipwrights.
Panel 4
Nicole and Murphy, thoughtsending, giving each other the hairy eyeball.
Murphy: Kind of like they're light on morality?
Nicole: Would you be this judgmental if they were planning to liberate the androids on Europa?
