Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Voice: Antigone, it is time to begin your awake cycle.
Antigone (from ship): Unh ...
Panel 2
In a semi-darkened room, Antigone (sans her visor and headset), lifts herself up on one elbow in her bunk, rubbing the sleep from her eye with the other hand.
Antigone: Have we reached turnaround yet?
Voice: Not for another 3.35 hours. Shall I begin your news feed now?
Panel 3
On her feet now, dressed in a tank-top and panties, Antigone walks out of her sleeping chamber.
Antigone: Not yet, Socrates. {nnf} Shower first.
Antigone: Fix me breakfast.
Socrates: As you wish.
Panel 4
Antigone, now dressed but without the headgear, is at a small table eating breakfast.
Caption: Several minutes later:
Voice (electronic): … while the Lunar Parliament continues to debate emergency measures to deal with the continuing real-estate and financial crisis …
Antigone: Enough politics, Socrates. Any update on the Argosy matter?
Panel 5
Antigone ponders as she listens.
Socrates: I have a new report that rescue teams scouring the last known location of the Argosy have discovered a body.
Socrates: It was identified as Georg Mueller, first officer of the Argosy.
Panel 6
Antigone talks around a bite of sausage.
Antigone: Any response to my queries?
Socrates: Yes, the dockmaster on Vesta confirms that Dr. Seamus O'Murchadha and Nicole Oresme boarded as passengers.
Panel 7
Antigone looks pensive.
Antigone: But no other news about the fate of the Argosy?
Socrates: Twenty-three of the lifeboats have been located via their transponders, and rescue operations are underway.
Panel 8
Antigone muses over her cup of coffee.
Socrates: It is as yet unknown whether O'Murchadha and Oresme are aboard any of those lifeboats.
Antigone (thought): Oh, Nicole, what have you gotten yourself into now?
