A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Establishing shot of a more homey sitting room than we saw before. It's where Adileh relaxes when she's not entertaining VIPs. Adileh and Murphy sitting together in intense conversation.
Murphy: It's just that the more I learn about him, the more confused I get.
Adileh: Seamus does have that effect on people.

Closer 2-shot on Murphy and Adileh.
Murphy: He was friends with my Master Po for almost two centuries.
Murphy: Po was very considerate, and conservative in his manner. I thought Seamus would be like him.
Adileh: Oh, no.

Murphy: But he consorts with brigands! Those pirates are FRIENDS of his!
Murphy: Then he cooks up a humiliating cover story having ME in a tryst with that Jesús Hernandez character!
Murphy: Adileh, I swear it didn't happen that way! I can't STAND that murderous thug!
