Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
QV9 KickStarter Campaign Has Begun! [ Oct 7, 2024 ]
The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, we have added stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story).
The campaign started Monday, October 7 and will conclude in 30 days.

Panel 1
Murphy is being 'processed-out' from the police station. She stands before tall desk behind which sits a bored-looking bureaucrat. Toni, her attorney, stands next to her.
Bureaucrat: Your paperwork appears to be in order.
Bureaucrat: It says you had no personal belongings when you came in, is that correct?
Murphy: It is.
Panel 2
An electronic pad and stylus (of the type we'd recognize from store check-out counters) pops up in front of Murphy. Murphy moves her hands towards it.
Bureaucrat: All right, sign on the pad and your attorney will escort you out.
Murphy: Thank you.
Panel 3
Murphy and Toni walk down a corridor.
Toni: That was odd … they ran us around in circles for three hours and then suddenly said we could go.
Murphy: They were delaying us.
Panel 4
Toni and Murphy exit the police station.
Toni: Delaying us? Why?
Murphy: So that I'd be too late to meet my transport.
Murphy: Excuse me, now that I'm outside I need to make a tel.
Panel 5
Medium close-up on Murphy, thought-sending.
Murphy (thoughtsend): Seamus? I'm out, finally.
Seamus (thoughtsend): Good, but unfortunately we've already departed.
Seamus (thoughtsend): You might as well go back to the hotel. I've paid to extend the room for three days …
Murphy (thoughtsend): So this is it, then?
Panel 6
Cut to medium shot of Seamus, a downcast Nicole can be seen in the background.
Seamus (thoughtsend): I'm afraid so. Everyone is on a schedule and I can't ask the Captain to turn the boat around for you.
Seamus: I'm very sorry, Murphy.
Panel 7
Cut back to med shot of Murphy. Toni is waving farewell as she begins walking away. Murphy waves back.
Murphy (thoughtsend): I could catch a later transport?
Seamus (thoughtsend): No, by the time you get here I'll be gone again.
Seamus (thoughtsend): Farewell, my dear Murphy. Good luck with your new life in L-5 City.
Panel 8
Full-length shot of Murphy standing in the open concourse – a few people are walking around, but she's really alone now.
Murphy: Yeah.
