Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 851
Panel 1Barnes is stil holding Seamus' unconscious form as he is confronted by Bill, Nelson and Fred.
Bill: You got some explaining to do, Baines, and it better be good.
Panel 2
Baines raises his hands, simultaneoulsy dropping Seamus.
Baines: Don't shoot! I'm unarmed!
Baines: I never carry weapons!
Panel 3
Baines suddenly zooms away.
SFX:ZIP
Bill: Holy mother of ...
Panel 4
Fred, Nelson and Bill are left standing over the inert forms of Seamus and Carl.
Fred: I suspected he was a damn pervert. No weapons, huh.
Bill: Worse than a pervert. He's a Pinocchio.
Panel 5
Bill kneels down next to Seamus, Nelson next to Carl and Fred stands guard over all of them.
Fred: A 'Pinocchio?'
Bill: An android posing as human.
Bill: Illegal as hell on Huoxing, but even in L-5 City most androids look down on the practice.
Panel 6
Nelson is kneeling over Carl.
Nelson: Hey Bill, looks like Carl's neck is broken. He needs an autodoc like five minutes ago.
Panel 7
Fred, Nelson and Bill.
Bill: You and Fred get Carl to the autodoc quick as you can. I'll stay with Seamus.
Panel 8
Fred and Nelson have gingerly lifted Carl in their arms, preparing to take him away.
Nelson: What if Pinocchio comes back?
Bill: I got a feeling he won't. But if you could send Mineola and Dorothy down here I'd appreciate it.
