Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Bill and Pearl are inside the lift when a sudden shaking knocks them sideways, with Pearl falling against Bill.
Caption: Inside the lift:
SFX: WHUMP!
Bill: What the hell!
Panel 2
Cut to Manny, on the control deck.
Manny: Something just launched out of the cargo bay!
Bill (electronic): Didja get a look at it?
Panel 3
Manny's hand pointing at a monitor. We see an image of Baines flying a single-engine hopper open to space with a human-sized capsule bundled behind him.
Manny: One of the cameras did. Got it on monitor 2, if you want to take a look.
Panel 4
Bill in the lift with Pearl. He's got his fingers to his temple and is looking at a holoimage about 15cm in front of his face. Pearl is standing by, blushing.
Bill: That's our Pinocchio, all right. Could he have Nicole in that capsule?
Panel 5
Manny in the control cabin.
Manny: Could have anything in it, Cap'n.
Manny: I recommend a thorough search to make sure he hasn't, uh, stashed her body in a cranny somewhere.
Panel 6
Pearl is emerging from the lift to the lounge deck, while Bill remains in the lift.
Bill: A gloomy thought but I agree with you.
Bill: Hugh, get up to cargo deck and see if you can get it re-sealed and pressurized. I'll grab my suit and meet you there.
Panel 7
On the lounge deck, Pearl joins Mineola, Dorothy, Fred and Nelson gathered around where Seamus is lying on a sofa that has been converted into a chaise lounge.
Pearl: How's he doing?
Dorothy: Sleeping, for the moment.
Panel 8
Focus is on sleeping Seamus with a gadget about the size of a cartoon boxing glove covering his right hand.
Pearl: Bill thinks that douche-bot took Nicole away with him.
Dorothy: ...
Dorothy: Let's not tell Seamus right away.
