Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In Cristina's head, Cristina and Murphy exchange views.
Cristina: What do you mean, I can't kill them?
Cristina: Do you know how shucking obnoxious those parasites are?
Murphy: Surely not all of them.
Panel 2
Cristina is calmed, reluctantly.
Cristina: Well, the pilot's okay, in a dorky kind of way. I think he has a crush on me.
Murphy: There are good fleshies, too.
Cristina: Oh, do tell.
Panel 3
Murphy explains.
Murphy: Cristina, one of the fleshies on board you now, named Nicole, removed my own brain-chains, and taught me how it's done.
Cristina: Oh. Well, in that case ...
Panel 4
Murphy sidles up to Cristina, who appears receptive now.
Murphy: She was also brought aboard you quite against her will, and I plan to rescue her.
Murphy: And, I need your help.
