Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Back to the fight. Murphy and Toombs square off again, although Toombs has dropped his holo-glamour and is showing his true robotic form. He's also looking a bit beaten-up, while Murphy still looks undamaged.
Murphy: Decided to ditch the clown suit?
Murphy: Or are you shutting down non-essential systems and diverting power?

Panel 2
From Murphy's POV, Toombs charges again.
Toombs: Arrogant cunt!
Panel 3
This time instead of side-stepping, Murphy punches Toombs square in the face.
Murphy: Stupid prick.

Panel 4
Toombs goes down as Murphy taunts him.
Murphy: Oh, I'm sorry, was that a sore point for you?
Murphy: I mean, not having one.
