Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Exterior, the Lucky Star likewise decelerating in the direction of motion. Nearby we see Sun-Shooter pilot #2's ship, and in the distance we see a bright light that is Nicole's Helio-Flyer.
Nicole: You guys have burned a lot of mass just to come say hello.
Jake: We heard about your situation and thought you deserved an escort.
Panel 2
Medium shot of backwards-headed, cyber-Nicole, the cumulative showing through even in this aspect. Holo-icons indicate the directions of the three Sun-Shooter ships closing in on Nicole.
Nicole: My boss did mention you guys'd be coming around.
Nicole: Look, if you guys want to sit back and watch me fly, I'll letcha do that for free.
Panel 3
Actual Nicole in her cockpit, looking even worse.
Nicole: If you wanna make yourselves useful, gimme some chatter.
Nicole: Tell me your life stories.
Panel 4
Pilot #2 in his control seat, smiling and yacking.
Pilot #2: Helio-Flyer, this is Gary Fox in the Fox's Flame.
Pilot #2: I was born in a log cabin in the northern Sea of Tranquility …
Pilot #3 (filtered): Sure you were, Gary!
Pilot #2: Wait your turn, Beauregard.
