Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Cut to the control cabin of the Cissonius. Manny is in his seat, Bill poking his head up through the access hatch.
Caption: Two days later:
Bill: What is it now?
Manny: That freighter which passed close-by earlier – the Cristina Kirchner – has changed course and is now on intercept with us.
Panel 2
Bill climbs into his chair.
Bill: Alert Hugh, in case this means trouble.
Bill: I'll get Seamus up here, I think we'll need him.
Panel 3
Now Seamus is poking his head through the access hatch. Bill and Manny are both tense.
Bill: Ahoy the freighter Cristina Kirchner.
Bill: This is Captain William Abbot of the Cissonius.
Bill: You appear to be on collision course with us. Please divert or state your intentions.
Panel 4
On a monitor, we see the face of Nicole. She's wearing her Sun-Diver jacket, and looks all-business.
Nicole: This is Captain Nicole Oresme of the liberated freighter Isabel Paterson.
Nicole: My intent is to come alongside. Requesting permission to send over two … guests.
