Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In a workroom, Nicole stands just inside the door. In front of her is Murphy, laid out on a table.
Nicole: Hey, Robot-Girl.
Panel 2
Nicole has moved over to the bedside, looking down forlornly at Murphy.
Nicole: Seamus said I shouldn't come in here.
Nicole: Also I think Hugh doesn't like me coming down to this deck.
Nicole: But I need to talk to you.
Panel 3
Nicole leans forward, lays her head on Murphy's chest, tucked up under Murphy's chin. Tears welling up in her eyes.
Nicole: I – I never properly thanked you for rescuing me.
Nicole: I'm always such a smart-ass.
Nicole: But you could've gone back to L-5 City and had a great life.
Nicole: Instead, you {choke} saved my sorry butt, and it cost you everything.
Panel 4
Tight 2-shot of Nicole and Murphy. Nicole's eyes are saucer-wide now.
Murphy: Well, not exactly everything.
