Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Cut to, establishing shot of Johanna's quarters. Johanna and Seamus are in the bed, under the sheets, in post-coitus repose.
Caption: A few hours after dinner:
Seamus: {sigh} … Johanna, my darling ...
Johanna: I know that tone, Hunky-Bear.
Johanna: What's bothering you?
Panel 2
Medium close-up on Seamus and Johanna.
Seamus: Oh, well, I don't understand why you were so rude to Murphy this evening.
Johanna: The gynoid? I … well … I'm sorry, Seamus.
Johanna: I've never felt comfortable around arti-folk which are so … realistic.
Panel 3
Seamus and Johanna.
Seamus: You mean so close to human-looking?
Johanna: That's it. Arti-folk like Tatiana and Landon are fine, but they're not meant to simulate … you know …
Johanna: You don't think I'm a bigot, do you?
Panel 4
Seamus and Johanna snuggle up together.
Seamus: No, I don't. I think it's just the 'uncanny valley' effect getting to you.
Johanna: Well, in a few more days it won't matter.
Johanna: Good night, lover.
Seamus: Good night, my sweet.
