A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Now another fellow – a journo wearing a pair of special video-sensor glasses, leans into the window, trying to get in the Dispatcher's face.
Journo: HAY! U CANT CLOSE TEH HANGR! I WUZ SETTIN UP 2 GIT VIDS OV TEH LANDIN!

Panel 2
Two-shot of the journo and the Dispatcher, with a bemused Seamus just in the frame. Dispatcher watches his monitor, not looking up at the Journo.
Dispatcher: You can watch the landing from the observation gallery.
Journo: MASSES AM IN DA GALRY, CROUDIN OUT SPAYS.

A transparent panel slides down the window, separating the Dispatcher from his tormentors.
Journo: HAY!!
Dispatcher: The complaint department will be open tomorrow. Now, shuck off, Loonie.

Panel 4
The Helio-Flyer is making its final approach to the landing pad, still at this point thrusting burner against its path. We can see the upper far wall of Avogadro's Chasm. Nicole's escort flotilla stands off a few hundred meters down-range.
Nicole (inside Helio-Flyer): We are at 800 meters, 250 downrange, switching from burner to mags.
