Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Nicole roars with laughter at the discombobulated Murphy, who is none too pleased.
Nicole: BWAAA ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Nicole: You shoulda seen your face!
Panel 2
Murphy has regained her composure, stands by coolly as Nicole hops out of the cockpit.
Murphy: You're 20 minutes over schedule. What happened?
Nicole: Murphy, it was AWESOME! The best! Super-fabuloso-fantastico!
Panel 3
Murphy retains her cool demeanor, as Nicole holds up an index finger towards her.
Murphy: I gather every system functioned properly?
Nicole: You remember that automated probe the Terries sent out 400 years ago?
Nicole: Touch my finger and gaze upon an amazing scene.
Panel 4
We see what Murphy sees: In the foreground, Nicole (with her helmet up) is in the right side of the frame, making a silly face and a 'V' sign with her right hand. To the left and behind her is that probe, parked on a small planetoid.
Nicole (OP): Is this the selfie to end all selfies, or what?
