Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nigel, Buford, Nicole and Murphy seated in the Levins' living room. Nigel and Buford are drinking from tall glasses, Nicole from a short glass, into which she's pouring some whiskey from a bottle.
Caption: An hour of lubricated catching-up later:
Buford: So Seamus' secret t'eory was wrong after all?
Nicole: I don't know, but now we have a star-drive and no actual theory to explain it.
Panel 2
Different angle, to focus on Murphy.
Murphy: The theory can come later, but we have a more urgent use for the drive …
Murphy: And it's the reason we came to see you now.
Murphy: We intend to rescue Seamus.
Panel 3
Nigel and Buford are surprised, again.
Nigel: Seamus is alive, too?
Buford: Where? T'ere are all kinds of conspiracy t'eories about what happened but I t'hought t'ey were all bunk.
Murphy: Did one of those theories involve Wokka-DNG-Hoy?
Panel 4
Nigle and Buford exchange glances of dread. Nicole looks annoyed.
Nigel: T'e East-Terrans? He might as well be dead.
Buford: Once t'ey get someone, t'ere is no escape.
Nicole: There's a first time for everything, you know.
