Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Hugh, Nicole, Murphy, Li, one of the Boneheads. They're all smiling at her, but she's still non-plussed.
Hugh: I have every confidence in you, chi … No.
Hugh: You're not a child anymore. If I had the authority I'd grant you the title, 'Doctor.'
Hugh: But no doubt several august institutions will soon be clamoring to so award you.
Panel 2
Murphy, Nicole, Hugh, Li. Nicole is pleading with Hugh.
Nicole: Don't leave me in the lurch like this. I need you, Sea … I mean, Hugh!
Hugh: No, you don't, Nicole. Not really.
Panel 3
Murphy has moved over to Hugh's side.
Hugh: Despite L-5 laws, I'm sure the Children of Armageddon will come after me as soon as they learn of … my existence.
Hugh: So, I must be off … and go as far away as possible.
Hugh: Fortunately, you have provided me with the means to go very far indeed.
Panel 4
Hugh touches a finger to Nichole's finger.
Hugh: I'm giving you the access codes to Castle Hodge-Podge.
Hugh: It's yours, now.
Nicole: Won't your … I mean, Seamus' 117 children object?
Hugh: I doubt it, they never liked the place anyway.
