A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1The indignant woman hustles away, leaving worried Zander and satisfied Bok.
Zander: Hope she doesn't post a complaint with Services.
Bok: Nah. She'd have to repeat what we said, and I doubt she could get the words out.

Sofia approaches, Bok notices her first.
Zander: You always know what words to say ...
Bok: It's my super-pow… oh, hi, Sofia!
Bok: You are looking especially fine this morning.
Bok (small): Uh, you don't mind, do you, Zander?

Zander desultorily moves over to another pair of seats, across the aisle. Sofia doesn't seem to even notice him.
Zander (small): Of course not ...
Sofia: So sweet of you to notice, Bok. I was finally able to get the new hairdresser to do my style properly.
Bok: Definitely worth the effort.
