A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Panel 1The group begin moving away from the hopper. The Panda is herding Lupin, Sargon and Elric.
Zander: What do you mean, someone like you?
Vash: Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any for you guys to learn the truth ...
Panel 2
Vash stands before Zander, Bok, Lupin, Sargon and Elric, as Diana looks on from the extreme right foreground.
Vash: I'm sorry to have deceived you all this time, but it was necessary.
Vash: On Zytemonde, androids are your overlords. But here, it's different.
Panel 3
Switch angle so we are looking past the Zytemondians at Vash, as Alyss stands to one side.
Vash: Here, we're all equals.
Vash: Every being, biological or not, which can understand and follow the idea of 'rights,' has them in equal measure to everyone else.
Vash: And as you will see ...
Panel 4
Vash transforms into Hayami, a gynoid with a distinctively Japanese style. Still tall and buxom.
Hayami: This is my true appearance. 'Vash' was a holographic disguise.
Hayami: Again, I apologize for the deception. You would not have accepted me as I am.
Hayami: My name is Hayami.
Hayami: It is my wish that we can remain friends.
Panel 5
Sargon, Elric and Lupin look at one another disconcertedly. Bok looks amused. Zander looks positively smitten.
Zander: You … you are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen.
Panel 6
Zander suddenly blushes with embarrassment but the ice has been broken.
Bok: Zander, you smooth-talker!
Sargon: Well, considering how you've saved our hides, I don't see why we can't still be friends.
Elric: Same here.
Lupin: Likewise.
