A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Alyss: We all have much to discuss, but first I need to debrief Hayami.
Alyss: Zander, will you and Monty please escort our guests to the guest wing? I have chambers prepared for them.

Alyss and Hayami walk away, but Diana tags along.
Alyss: Um, Diana, the debriefing will be a private one.
Diana: I have a right to know what's going on!
Alyss: Strictly speaking, you don't. But I promise we will have a conference with everyone from your world and reach a consensus before anyone returns there.

Alyss and Hayami continue walking away leaving Diana standing there, looking annoyed.
Alyss: If you want to know what's going on, access the network terminal in your quarters.
