Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Buford takes her leave of the dinner table. Pop is unconcerned, Bomma looks concerned, Bennie eyes her uneaten food.
Buford: I – I tink I need to go lie down for a while.

Buford is sneaking out an apartment window.
Buford (thought): I luff my family but tey are dumb as rocks.

Buford leaps 10 meters to the sidewalk below.

Buford has made her way to a seedy-looking nightclub. She walks past a pair of young male Beltapes, who watch her go by. Buford pays them no mind.
Buford (thought): Tere's no future on Luna for my kind. May as well focus on te present.
