Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Inside the shuttle, Nicole, the Pilot and Seamus are all tense.
Nicole: Bogey's at 45 klicks, closing at 900 meters per second
Pilot: How long can you maintain that shield?
Seamus: With its own power-pack, maybe an hour.
Panel 2
External view of the shuttle in its silvery cocoon, still hounded by the laser.
Seamus: But I don't think we're going to need it that long.
Seamus: Our friends won't be so patient, and at their rate of approach they'll be right next to us in about a minute.
Panel 3
Pilot, looking at his display.
Pilot: Our attacker masses almost 150 tonnes. Big enough to swallow us. Or at least, grapple us.
Seamus: Then he will find his eyes are bigger than his stomach
Panel 4
Close shot on Seamus, gritting his teeth menacingly.
Seamus: I intend to give him a bellyache he won't forget.
