To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Eithne, Agent Ppppbbthshpt, and the guard are walking down a corridor filled with wide doorways looking into small prison cells. Sleeping bench, toilet, a few shelves. The doorways have protruding jambs each of which has a broad, glowing strip. In most of these cells there are prisoners (various non-Glutean species) looking at the procession. These prisoners are all wearing 'safety collars.'
Eithne: Are we going to the silk stocking district?
AP: Stockings are not allowed here.
Panel 2
The procession pauses in front of an empty cell. The doorjambs here are glowing a different color.
Eithne: But my legs are getting cold!
AP: You will be issued new clothing shortly.
AP: For now, please step through here.
Panel 3
Eithne has stepped through and now turned to face AP and the Guard still in the corridor. The doorjamb is now lit like the other cells.
AP: When the doorway is lit like this, do not leave your room or your safety collar will activate.
AP: A facilitator will be here before long for your orientation.
Eithne: Ditching me already? I thought we were getting along famously.
