A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Ralf (still with one rucksack) is re-entering the Dockmaster's office just as Eithne is walking out from behind the counter (Mezzy is holding the board up.)
Caption: Nearly 7,000 seconds later:
Ralf: Well, good timing?
Eithne: Yes. Yes, I've got his system sorted. Finally.

Eithne pauses at the counter to verify terms with the Docmaster as Ralf looks on.
Mezzy: Your berth is sealed and pressurizing now.
Eithne: And the Work-Bee?
Mezzy: Yeah-yeah, it'll be waiting.

Ralf and Eithne walk out of the Dockmaster's office.
Ralf: You rented a Work-Bee?
Eithne: For services rendered. I was able to negotiate a better deal.
Ralf: From Mezzy? You're more formidable than I realized.
