A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Theo begins walking away, leaving Hugh and Murphy standing near Causa Sui.
Theo: I must take my leave of you for now.
Theo: I have business elsewhere, and no doubt you are anxious to fully check-out your ship.
Theo: We will meet again, soon.
Panel 2
Hugo and Murphy ride Causa Sui's anti-grav lift up into the ship.
Murphy: He's not what I imagined he'd be like.
Hugo: Having never seen myself from the outside like this I can't quite specify how 'genuine' he is to my … our original self.

Murphy has taken Hugo's hand and is almost dragging him away from the lift access.
Hugo: Ah … do you have some agenda here?
Murphy: I need intimacy, now.
Hugo: Can we remove these encounter suits first?
