Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Medium shot of Eithne.
Eithne: Theophilus Farnsworth was a genius who went insane when his wife and children were murdered, roughly … 30 gigaseconds ago.
Eithne: He launched a nuclear holocaust that killed upwards of 175 million people!
Eithne: To atone for that he spent the following 14 gigasecs helping humanity recover, and then gaining access to other worlds.
Panel 2
The Dude, Eithne, and Kek.
The Dude: What does that have to do with this android?
Eithne: To escape vengeance-seekers, Theophilus changed his identity several times. He was Seamus O'Murchadha when he was finally caught, and tortured to death.
Eithne: Murphy rescued his brain and made him into the android, Hugo.
Panel 3
Adam, the Dude and Eithne, who is wearing her 'no shit, brother' expression.
Adam: Apparently the death of his companion drove him insane once again.
The Dude: It was the Brennir who destroyed Murphy, and now Theo has been systematically destroying the Brennir Empire.
Eithne: That would fit the pattern, yes.
