Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Juan and Radoj
Radoj: I have to admit, the more obstacles I faced, the more obsessed I became with getting to the bottom of this.
Juan: That's part of what made you the best in the business, Paul.
Radoj: I broke a lot of rules, Juan. Way more than you did on the Max Marrón case.
Panel 2
Juan and Radoj
Juan: So, when you got to the final 'nesting doll'?
Radoj: All I found was a name: Château Périlleux
Juan: That's French for … Castle Perilous?
Panel 3
Juan looks intrigued.
Radoj: Close enough. I checked with some of my contacts in the Francophone communities here.
Juan: And came up empty there, I suppose.
Radoj: Yeah, until I contacted someone in the RPLC group. Real friendly chap.
Panel 4
Juan and Radoj.
Juan: What did he tell you?
Radoj: Oh, nothing in particular.
Radoj: But when my apartment was fire-bombed, that definitely told me something.
